"Dharma protects those who protect Dharma."
This idea originally comes from the ancient text Manusmriti. What it means is that anything that upholds its dharma is protected by its significance.
As the founder of YogKulam, I, Maneesh Pratap Singh, am writing with hope. A hope that it might touch you the way it touches me. A hope that it compels you to connect with our vision.
In this vast expansion, the sun shines, the moon changes shape, rivers flow to the sea, and lions continue their hunting pursuits, following their natural way—their dharma. From the sun to the moon, rivers, and oceans, from amoebas to the last creatures evolved before humans, like chimpanzees, everybody lives their life as per dharma decided by nature. But humans? We've lost our way. Intelligence was bestowed upon us as a blessing, yet we have become enslaved by it, leading to endless suffering. And this suffering is no longer limited to us; it's expanding to animals, plants, rivers, even reaching into space and to the moon. As this problem continues to grow, it's crucial to find a solution to make its negative effects less severe. Thankfully, we have Yoga.
At YogKulam, we strive to cultivate a culture that positively transforms people's lives by uncovering the true essence of yoga, which is to reconnect with our Dharmic purpose of existence. We have three big goals to make our vision a reality: keeping people healthy and happy (Swastha Bharat), helping minds grow and stay clear (Smaridha Bharat), and saving old wisdom (Vaidik Bharat).
With our first mission, Swastha Bharat, we are committed to creating a global community of yoga teachers. This commitment is reflected in the quality of our courses and the dedication of our highly qualified and experienced yoga teachers.
In line with our mission, Samridha Bharat, we are also focusing on empowering our communities with job support, financial advice, and the skills to establish their own ventures in yoga. Our collective vision for Vaidik Bharat is to establish 100 Gurukuls, each dedicated to restoring the lost values and wisdom of Eternal Dharma while creating a balance with the modern essence of today's world.
I hope my message finds you in good spirits. To bring our vision to life, we need individuals from every direction, field, and background to join us. Together, let's transform this vision into reality.
A successful place resonates with the voices of great minds. Yogkulam is fortunate to have such individuals. We express our gratitude to Raghvendra Pratap Singh Sir & Swami Sivananda Ji for being our guides.
Raghvendra Pratap Singh, like many others, faced tough times but persisted to find success and meaning. Influenced greatly by his mother, the atmosphere at home, filled with timeless tales of Mahabharat and Ramayana, shaped his foundational thinking. Even during challenging moments, Raghvendra Sir never gave up. He drew strength from the stories he heard and the lessons they imparted, inspiring him to persevere despite obstacles. Now successful in his job as real estate business consultant, he shares his wisdom to help others. Furthermore, Raghvendra Sir played a crucial role in Yogkulam, not only helping to establish it but also influencing Maneesh Sir with his thoughts and principles.
Swami Sivananda, a 125-year-old Yoga guru from Kashi, was honored with the Padma Shri for his great contributions to the field of Yoga. Born into poverty, dedicated his life to service and spirituality. He's a huge inspiration for Yogkulam, serving not just as a role model but also as a guiding light, much like a guru. He teaches us how to reach our service goals and shares valuable yoga lessons from his own life experiences. He believes that technology can make spreading the wisdom of yoga easier.
